Former Apopka High football player Bobby Henderson arrested in sex assault in S.C.

Former Apopka High School football player Bobby Henderson is one of two college students arrested Friday in the sexual assault of three women in an off-campus student apartment in South Carolina, authorities said.

Henderson, 19, a Presbyterian College football player from Pine Hills, was arrested on charges of burglary, kidnapping and sexual assault in an attack that police say happened the morning of March 21 at Bearcat Village, a half-mile from Lander University in Greenwood, S.C.

Cameren Jones, 19, of South Carolina, another Presbyterian College football player, also was arrested Friday in the case.

According to the university, the two men forced their way into the apartment at gunpoint. One of the women previously had an unspecified relationship with Jones, Lander police said.

Presbyterian College officials said the students have been suspended. They were being held Saturday in the Greenwood County Detention Center without bail.
