Meet Our New Puppy Mia

Meet Mia, the newest member of our family. She loves kids, dogs and playing. She is energetic and full of life, your typical puppy.?

We had been talking about the possibility of adding another pet to the family - but in a few years. Hubbys sister got her kids a puppy not to long ago but unfortunately they realized their already busy schedule wouldn't allow proper care for her so they made the difficult decision to let her go to another loving home, someone who had more time for her.?
We had a few things to take into consideration before accepting the offer to adopt Mia. We had to think about our two current dogs, would they like another friend? We had to think about the fact that she is not house broken, would we be able to handle training another puppy? We accepted the offer after agreeing that we already have two well-behaved dogs, she is still a young puppy and she will learn.
As of this past Monday, Mia is now living with us. When she first got here she did not know what to think of our two dogs, Zeus and Ruffy. She was a little bit afraid as there was a lot of excitement between the dogs and the kids but eventually we were able to coax her out and she was introduced to her new home and family.

As for the dogs, no problem welcoming her. Zeus is so used to little dogs he really doesn't bother with her and tries avoiding her if she starts to rough house. Ruffy seems to be happy to have a friend almost his size, he doesn't mind sharing his doggie bed with her.?
It has been only a couple of days and so far she has been behaving exceptionally well for a puppy who just moved in. She will need some work with training and house breaking but that is all part of having a puppy.


We are all very happy we were able to give Mia a loving forever home and look forward to many an adventure with her!
