The third cable you should have with you would be an RCA audio cable. This cable comes in quite useful in case you plan to connect your stereo system to your laptop or desktop. This cable basically has stereo inputs to mini 3.5 mm jack outputs. They are quite useful in case your sound system doesn?t have a HDMI port. These days you also get HDMI to RCA cables which have a HDMI input on one end and a RCA stereo output on the other end.
