Brad Pitt needs to shut up about Aniston

Our readers continue to contribute some funny, smart and incisive comments to our Today Entertainment Facebook page. Every Friday, we'll highlight those that really stood out. If you see a great comment throughout the week, click the ?Like? button underneath it to draw it to our attention.

The top comment, unscientifically chosen by us:

1. On "Pitt wasn't leading 'interesting' life with Aniston"
Adrienne Bayless: "(Aniston is) better off without him. So he doesn't want a typical NORMAL marriage, he wants one that is full of DRAMA and CRAP to keep it 'interesting.' Well, getting with Jolie will give him that. He needs to keep his trashy mouth shut."

And the runners-up...

2. On "Tuskegee Airmen fly again in 'Red Tails'"
Kenneth W. Williams: "I'm hoping they get it right. The special effects look amazing. I did a ton of research on the Airmen for my book, 'Red Tail Heart: The Life & Love of a Tuskegee Airman.' This subject matter is near and dear to my heart."

3. On "Michaele Salahi runs off with Journey guitarist"
Shanti Klemm: "I am just trying to figure out who these people are. If I have to Google their names, I find it strange they are making headlines."

4. On "Nic Cage: Naked man with Fudgesicle woke me"
Gena Bethune McCown: "Am I the only one who found the need to describe what a fudgesicle is humorous?"

Story: Salma should tell Somalians how rich she is

5. On "What's with the makeup on Johnny Depp's Barnabas Collins?
Wendy Hazle: "Oh, trying to pretend I wasn't scared so Mom would let me keep watching, but frightened out of my skin!!! She loved that show, and my sister and I wanted to be big girls and watch too. I have such a clear picture of Barnabas and that ring on his finger. I want this to be a good movie, but I really don't want to see Johnny Depp as a reincarnated Michael Jackson playing Barnabas Collins. It would be so much better to just play it straight, the way the incomparable Jonathan Frid did. That was scary enough!!!"

He's since said his remarks were misinterpreted, but do you agree that Pitt would do better not to mention his ex-wife at all? Discuss on Facebook.
