Adrian Covert ?Many geeks prefer to build their gaming PCs, not just because it's cheaper, but because it's an extension of their own gaming alter-egos. Digital Storm's Ode line of pre-configured gaming machines, however, are for gamers with extra cash and a DGAF mentality.
At its most powerful, the ODE doesn't play around. a 3.4 GHz, quad-core Intel Core i7 processor is unlocked, allowing it to be clocked up to 5.2 GHz. Two hard drives?a 120 GB SSD and a 1 TB HDD. 8 gigs of DDR 3 RAM. Two 1.2 GB NVIDIA GeForce GTX 570 graphics cards (dual SLI). Toss in some heavy duty liquid cooling, Blu-ray drive and an Intel P67 motherboard, and, yeah, this thing will run some games. For a mere $2500 (but you can get a lesser sissy model for $1500).
