Children's book reviews in The Telegraph | Kim Harte

The Telegraph have a slew of new reviews of books for children of all ages. Lucy Daniel reviews picture books including Jack and the Flum-Flum Tree by Julia Donaldson & illustrated by David Roberts, Bedtime for Monsters by Ed Vere and The Fly by Petr Horacek. Toby Clements reviews books for younger readers (ages 7+) including Animal Tales written by Terry Jones and illustrated by Michael Foreman and One Dog and his Boy by the late, great Eva Ibbotson. Elena Seymenliyska reviews fantasy fiction for 9-12 year olds while Philip Womack reviews adventure and historical fiction. Fantasy fiction for teens is revewed by Judith Woods and includes A Monster Calls by Patrick Ness and MJ Hyland?s How the Light Gets In. Philip Womack reviews historical fiction for teens, including Mal Peet?s Life: An Exploded Digram, and Jake Kerridge reviews adventure fiction including Scorpia Rising by Anthony Horowitz and Department 19 by Will Hill.
